My career path has taken me from humble PR beginnings at AECI Explosives in Klerksdorp to the high- lights, camera and action of Radio 702, where i was initially employed as a PR junior assistant, to ultimately being able to produce programmes for some of South Africa's most loved talk show hosts. I have been a successful farmers wife, raising piglets to pork chops, from day old chicks to spatchcok chickens, from organic carrots to glorious flowers. I have turned a non profit and failing small community radio station in Rustenburg to owning its very own outdoor broadcast unit and taking its listnership from 2000 to over 50 000, from an almost zero income to close to a million in just over a year. I have conceptualized, organised and sold countless themed Exhibitions in the North West Province from complex themed exhibitions relating to global warming to staging a complete mall takeover for the Fifa World Cup in 2010. I have run a successful marketing/design studio for close on 21 years which has weathered economic storms, strikes and riots. Still our doors remained open for business, despite the huge economic recesses and Platinum Mine closures. My motto: Tough times don't last tough people do.
